National Sports day
National Sports Day is celebrated on 29th August every year in India. It is the birthday of Major Dhyan Chand, who is one of the most respected legendary figures in Indian and world hockey team. To highlight the importance of this day, the students of Carmel School, celebrated it with pride and enthusiasm. The day started with special assembly, our principal lighted the lamp and program begin with invocation song followed by speech, song etc. We organized different games for all the classes and our principal also joined and played cricket . The day ended by distributing chocolates on the remembrance of Dhyan Chand.
